indulgence *muack

i've planned something special for myself...hehe...something like 'monthly indulgence'...whereby i will splurge on exp stuff tat i like...hohohoz...cos tat's my initial purpose for getting a job...to pass time & to enjoy life...with cash... :)

i'd been stingy for the past few mths...cos i juz hate to see my bank acct depleting...now i understand the true meaning of 'hard-earned' cash...& i noe it's impt to save some money of uni expenses...but wat's the pt of working so hard when u cnt even use the money...it's not as if u are throwing money into the drain...it's for urself anyway...so now i decide to spend when necessary...so i can enjoy & save at the same time...gotta train ourselves on 'finance management'...wahahaz...but still...occasionally indulgence will not become a sin! we have to be pampered mahz! (esp if u got stressful jobs!)

yeah yeah! went to watch spiderman 3 with ong at GV Plaza on sat (my second movie in the cinema for tis yr...hahahz...i'm not a cinema-goer)..it was quite good...i'll give 4/5 for rating...hehe...u can say i'm biased cos i always luv spiderman movies since 1st installment...for this 3rd one...the special effects are great...cast is great...the plot (more on relationship development) is predictable & not tat draggy...i think it's worth the ticket price...so if ya wanna catch a movie...go try spiderman 3! (go spidey!)

after the movie...went to shop around with ong...haiz...ong was searching for speakers while i'm fretting over wat farewell gifts shld i buy for my colleagues...it's really a headache cos i need to buy for quite a no. of ppl...everyone juz treat me so nice...cos they actually planned a farewell party cum karaoke session at JB (yes....johor bahru! they noe i like to sing/crazy over fei lun hai...hehez!) juz for me! I'm very touched cos almost the whole dept is going...for my sake? (cos i'm juz a temp staff!) hahaz...maybe it's also a great opportunity for these perm staff to have a fun gathering! (foster bonds!) but really...great thanks!

ong & i talked abt uni stuff again...and reality finally struck...i'm offered a place in the science faculty of nus (yesh...the admission letter has arrived...i was psychoed after reading the materials given...hehez...so it's 'decision' time...yikes!) throughout all this time...we have been pyschoed from diff areas...family& friends & even the unis...so it's really hard to choose when u dun really have a definite area of interest (somebody like me...hehe...or shld i say i'm fickle-minded!) i noe it's immature & probably disgraceful of me to cnt even decide for myself at this age...tat's my major setback...indecisiveness...so i really envy ppl who pursue their interest...cos up till now...i dun even noe wat i really like...

maybe i shld have thought of selecting courses earlier...but who noes i'll score respectable grades? (i dun mean fantastic grades arh!) i always have the mentality tat 'as long as a uni accepts me...i dun care wat course i take' so i didnt think much in the end...now tat i get the privilege to choose...things get more complicated...there were times tat i'm really fed up with myself...haiz...but courses doesnt really matter now...cos when i chose sci for nus/bus for ntu...i knew i cld study either one of them...so it comes down to the uni selection which is the biggest headache...(mum-nus fan, me-half, frens-majority ntu fans) i'm really ok with anything...tat's y i'm easily psychoed...wahahaz...so i decided to bring my mum along with me for 2 high tea sessions...one in nus and one in ntu (yep i'm going for ntu high tea again...) so after all these high tea sessions...maybe a final decision will come by naturally for sure...aiyahz just get over & be done with! :)

talking abt ntu business/accountancy high tea....went with ong last week...the talk was rather useful as we got more info on wat the course is like...ong & i toured around the campus on feet...omg...the place is huge...and there are so many stairs...(really can lose weight when travelling around campus...no wonder dun have PE lessons anymore...hahahz) we wanted to try out the canteen food but all stalls were closed...so we got ourselves toasted sandwiches from vending machines...(ok lahz...we are sua gu...cos we got fascinated by sandwich vending machines...esp me...hehe)...haiz...but not worth the money lehz...got cheated by the nice delicious pictures...the whole environment is good though....

haiz...enough yakking abt my dilemma...wanna think abt my indulgence next mth...this mth was a new wallet...so next mth will be VCDS/DVDS/COMICS! hahaz...cos gonna be jobless liaoz...so wan to spend time watching all the dramas/anime & reading comics...hehez! hahaz...and also the start of *gulps* 'Lose the calories' programme-supervised by my mum & bro & frens...cnt drag anymore...hehe...byes to the fat fat van.... :P
